CEBU'S fast-rising junior triathletes Andrew Kim Remolino and Karen Manayon topped the boys’ sprint and girls’ super sprint divisions, respectively, in the 2017 National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) in Subic Bay yesterday.
Remolino, a member of the national junior triathlon team, was the first to finish the 750-meter swim, 20K bike and 5K run course, and beat formidable junior racers Julius Constantino and Tonito Alejo.
The 16-year-old from Talisay City dominated the race as he was leading in the swim, bike and run portions. The official time of the race, however, is not yet available as of press time.
