"We are expecting our exhibitors to generate almost P100 millions on site sales and post event sales/orders," the event's project manager Cel Maliwat said.

Organized by Mandaluyong-based organizer CMB Events Management and supported by the regional offices of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Davao Region, the three-day expo is joined by around 60 participating companies from all over the country.

Some of this this year's big exhibitors are San Miguel Foods Corp. BMeg, Planters Products, Harbest Agri Products, Honda Phils., Natures Bio Organic, Bounty Foods Corp., and Inavet Nutrition, among others.

The organizers are expecting some 10,000 visitors to attend the expo.

"The ultimate goal of this expo is to disseminate the latest information and technologies in agriculture and livestock," Maliwat said.

Now on its third year, the expo is said to be more captivating as it features more agricultural products and equipment, free seminars on gamefowl and hog raising. Raffle prizes are to be given away to the lucky attendees.

Products to be displayed at the expo are feeds, seeds and crops, animal nutrition, fertilizer and pesticides and the latest technologies and equipment on farming.

Free seminars on organic farming, livestock raising, animal healthcare, swine breeding and piglet management will also be conducted.

"We will definitely hold this event again next year because we always wanted to recognize the importance of agriculture and will always do our best to promote and support the best that the industry can offer," Maliwat said.

The event is sponsored by B-Meg, Proline Group and Bowa Agricultural Equipment.
