DANNY Usman crowned himself champion in the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) weekly qualifying tournament held Monday evening, January 30 at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Lanes.
Usman struck for a total of 846 pinfalls after four games, outclassing Leandro "Lee" Martin and ABS-CBN news anchor Paul Palacio, who placed second and third, respectively.
Martin rolled 822 pins while Palacio scored 812 in the event organized by the Datba.
Usman received P800 while the next two winners pocketed P500 and P300, respectively.
