SO, you really thought Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina could have done better in the Q&A of the recent Miss Universe 2016 pageant?
In fairness, Maxine had done her best and we cannot do anything if her best was not good enough for us. Besides, achieving a back-to-back win is such a tall order.

She spoke about trying her luck at the Bb. Pilipinas pageant three times. She justified that she really had to work hard because that was what she wanted—that she had to hold on to her dream as if her life depended on it.
Singer-rapper Flo Rida set the mood of the pageant by performing his hits beautifully interpreted by backup dancers.
Boyz II Men also performed their hits, except In The Still of the Night. I had the chance to perform the song in my first “major” public performance, with the famous Cebuano quartet, Sakdap (Gani Villarojo, Henry Jabonero, Irving Guazon and Josil Marino), as backup during a fund-raising event.
Patti Austin sets the mood for a memorable pre-Valentine’s Day celebration tonight at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino ballroom. A day after the day of hearts, Star Cinema’s My Ex & Whys (with Lisa Soberano and Enrique Gil) comes to the wide screen.
