THE upcoming Cebu Extreme Fight League (CEFL) II – “No Way Out” features a women’s bout that might steal the show.

Former Olympian Marian Mariano faces American warrior Andrea Erickson in a special attraction in the undercard of CEFL II on Feb. 18 at the Cebu Coliseum.

“This should be a great fight especially that we are already using a cage. The excitement won’t be interrupted,” CEFL II organizer Master Benigno Caniga said.

Mariano, who now trains at Seldef, suited up for the wushu national team in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and took a bronze in the Women’s 56 KG sanshou event of wushu, which was a demo sport.

The 28-year-old Mariano makes her MMA debut in CEFL II. She trains under the tutelage of ONE Championship fighter and former URCC champion Cary Bullos.
