DANIEL Matsunaga is asking netizens to respect his and Erich Gonzales' silence following reports that they called it quits.
For weeks now, the couple was bombarded by messages from fans asking the real score in their relationship.
The speculations of their break-up came after Gonzales deleted their Instagram photos together and unfollowed Matsunaga and his close family members.
"Whatever is happening between me and Erich right now should be between the 2 of us please," reads Matsunaga's response to one netizen asking about the split.
He added that they have nothing against each other and he still loves the Kapamilya actress.
But it seems the split rumors are not dying anytime soon.
There are speculations that Gonzales found someone, which was immediately dismissed by the Japanese-Brazilian model.
Matsunaga said there is no third party involved in what they are going through.
"Listen everyone, this is already getting out of control. What you guys read has nothing to do with what happened between me and Erich. FP is all lies and I don't know where that came from," he wrote.
Matsunaga added: "Even after everything that happened between the two of us, we both respect each other and there is nothing like that... non-sense."
The "Pinoy Big Brother" former housemate added that he knows Gonzales and she would never do such thing.
Matsunaga and Gonzales first worked together in Kapamilya series "Two Wives" before confirming their romance in May 2015.
