#SHORTS: South Korean PM accepts PH's apology over Jee's killing; PMSEA challenges DENR; DOH launches Community Based Screening for HIV-Aids awareness

APOLOGY. South Korean Prime Minister and acting President Hwang Kyo Ahn accepted the Duterte administration's apology over the gruesome death of Korean businessman Jee Ick-joo in the Philippines, Presidential Chief Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo said Monday.

CHALLENGE. In the wake of the closure of 23 and the suspension of 5 other mining firms all over the country, Philippine Mine Safety and Environment Association (PMSEA) president Louie Sarmiento said the pronouncements of Department of Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Gina Lopez needs a full disclosure.

SCREENING. The Department of Health (DOH) launched the Community Based Screening (CBS) to bring Human Immunodeficiency Virus-Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV-Aids) awareness and encourage Davao City residents to be tested.
