SALVADOR Benedicto Mayor Marxlen dela Cruz will deliver his State of the Municipality Address (Soma) tomorrow, Feb. 8, a day before the town’s 27th Charter Day anniversary.
His address will focus on his 11-point agenda with a theme: “We are One.”
His priority agenda include improvement of roads that will ease the coming in and out of agricultural produce as well as water and power supply.
“As we position our town as a tourist destination, we need to address these basic needs,” the mayor said.
The Municipal Board approved a budget of around P100 million for 2017.
Dela Cruz said he is grateful to the members of the town council for passing the budget although most of the councilors are not under his political party.
“It’s good that they have not failed me in my request for the passage of the budget,” he said. (TDE)
