THE next Negrense champion most-likely to rise will come from the list of winning tankers in the recently-staged 3rd Mayor's Cup Age Group Swimfest.
Organized by the Cadiz Whales Swimming Team in time for the Dinagsa Festival, the hosts dominated followed by Northland Aquatic Swim Team of Manapla, and Kabankalan Red Lion Swim Team. The most number of participants came from the Julius Caro-La Carlota Swim Team.
Named winners were: age 6 and Under – Kendrek Misa (male) and Dominique Sombito (female); age 7-8 – Aaron Manong (male) and Sharese Randell Medel (female); and for age 9-10 – Daven Patrimonio (male) and Jhasmyne Espera (female).
Other standouts were Jay-R Punzalan and Jhanna Neri for the male and female divisions in age 11-12 category; age 13-14 – Jarryd Neri (male) and Eloisa Eriegna Detoyato (female); and age 15-17 – Grant Masculino (male) and (female) Keanah Abegayle Esclares. (HGD)
