THE Cebu Football Association (CFA) will hold a tryout for Cebu’s best footballers of the Under-15 and Under-13 divisions this weekend.
The CFA earlier released a memo to the clubs and schools to nominate players for the two-day tryouts, which will serve as Cebu’s selection process for the Festival of Football next month.
The Boys Under-15 tryout will be supervised by coach Epifanio Ynot, and the Girls Under-15 division by coach Rose Ton Bariñan. The Boys Under-13 division will be supervised by coach Ray Calo, while the Girls Under-13 age group by coach Joanna Sabid.
The tentative venues for the tryouts will be Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) for the Boys Under-15 age class, Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) for the Boys Under-13 division and Paref-Springdale for both the Girls Under-15 and Under-13 divisions.
A total of 18 players will be picked for both Under-15 divisions and 16 players for both Under-13 categories.
