#SHORTS: OSG seeks for arrest of peace consultants; Economic managers reject blanket free-tuition policy for SUCs; Calamba drug busts yield ex-cop, 14-year-old boy

SEEKING FOR ARREST. The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) is set to ask the Supreme Court (SC) and the Regional Trial Courts (RTC), where the criminal cases against the National Democratic Front (NDF) peace consultants are pending, to issue an order of arrest against the "rebels" following the peace talks' cancellation.

NO FREE TUITION. The government’s economic managers rejected on Thursday, February 9, proposed legislations seeking to provide free tuition for all State Universities and Colleges (SUC) undergraduate students.

CAUGHT. A 14-year-old suspected drug courier and a police officer who has not reported for duty since 2015 were among the four persons arrested in separate buy-busts in Barangay Calamba, Cebu City.
