WHENEVER Valentine’s Day draws near, it is always nice to think about successful love stories that inspire us.
One is the story of famous singer Janet Jackson who finally found real love in her mid 40’s through husband Qatari billionaire Wlssam Al Mana.
The couple got married in 2012 and now she’s happily pregnant at age 50.
In the city, University of Baguio Prep High School Glee Club coach, trainer, and Music Director Jordan Mascareñas waited until her practice teacher girlfriend fulfilled her dream of becoming an educator before asking her to be his lifetime partner.
Jordan’s romantic proposal happened right after the successful presentation of UB Cantata, the school’s highlight event for the Yuletide. The students from elementary to college, parents, teachers, and academic VIP’s who were at the venue felt genuine love as they witness the unforgettable episode in the life of the loved couple. That event also taught everyone the value of giving priority to such very essential phase in life before entering into matrimony.
This coming Valentine’s Day, it will surely be extra special for the pair and as it will be their first to celebrate the occasion as husband and bride to be.
With all these successful love stories that we see and hear, we can say that the word forever in a relationship is true. It is as real as the Side A Band mentioned in their song “Forevermore” and Martin Nievera in his own rendition of “Forever”. This will inspire us to believe in the magic of love. It may not happen now, but who knows it will in the future, in God’s time.
Let’s celebrate the worldwide festival of love and friendship on February 14. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
