THE next multiple gold medalist Matthieu Adrien Tao will soon be discovered as the Summer Swimming Clinic 2017 will start its first batch on March 20 at the Holiday Gym and Spa.

This was bared by swimming coach Sweet Angel Altamera during Thursday's, February 9, Davao Sportswriters Association Forum at the NCCC Mall Davao Food Cove function hall.

She said there will be a total of six batches in this year's summer swimming program.

Ten professional swimming coaches headed by Haroon Cali, who mentored Tao's rise to sterling Batang Pinoy 2016 National Championship performance, will spearhead the clinic. Tao won four gold medals in the Batang Pinoy last year in Tagum City.

“Merong assigned coaches na mag hands-on sa training ng mga bata (There are assigned coaches for the children’s hands-on training),” Altamera said, adding that each coach will handle at least four swimmers per session.

The six-batch clinic aims to hone the athletes to be competitive in various swimming competitions.

Registration fees are P3,500 for the basic course and P4,500 for the advanced course which both comes with 10 sessions. Interested participants may enroll at their most convenient time in the morning, afternoon or evening.

The first batch will be on March 20 to 31 followed by the second batch set on April 3 to 13. The rest of the schedule: third batch - April 17 to 28, fourth batch - May 1 to 12, fifth batch- May 15 to 26, and sixth batch - May 29 to June 9.
