AUTHORITIES arrested a suspected drug pusher in Barangay 9-A, Davao City, Wednesday evening.
The suspect was identified as Reynaldo Bargamento Cano, a tricycle driver and a resident of Dove Street in Malfori Heights Subdivision.
Initial investigation showed that around 11:30 p.m., the suspect was reprimanded by a barangay official for playing loud music while driving a tricycle along Ruby Street in Malfori.
The suspect was caught throwing a piece of sachet to the ground while the barangay official was approaching, prompting the official to arrest the suspect. Seized from the suspect's possession was a sachet of suspected marijuana.
The suspect is currently detained at the San Pedro Police Station awaiting for charges of violating Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, to be filed against him. (KRP)
