Two cheers for Misto

WINE glasses were raised twice to cheer Seda Misto’s achievements and offerings over a recent cocktail gathering at the hotel’s ballroom.

Listed.

I am not surprised of the latest accolade Misto received. After listing the resto as the best hotel restaurant in Davao City on my Apples & Lemons Awards 2016, Misto was recognized as one of the country’s best by a popular national magazine.

“The year started on a high note for Seda Abreeza as Davao’s urban lifestyle hotel as it gets recognition from Philippine Tatler Dining last January 17, 2017. Misto in Seda Abreeza is in the country’s Best Restaurants for 2017,” said Faith Dimaano, Seda’s communications officer.

Philippine Tatler Dining features the best restaurants, bars, and dining news for its highly affluent and cosmopolitan readers. The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant feature is found on their Best Restaurants Guide (BRG) – both available on print and online.

“We are very grateful for this recognition from Philippine Tatler. I share this achievement with the team, especially the team behind Misto in Seda Abreeza led by Sous Chef Giovanna “Bang” Flores. This will surely challenge us to keep making our diners’ experience at its best, and continue on innovating savory treats for everyone. Guests will have more to look forward to in Misto this year,” said Hotel Manager Ken Kapulong.

Love affairs.

My love affair with Misto’s delicacies continues.

On the same night, Misto displayed why it’s on the Tatler list via the romantic offerings for the Valentine season. It was another good reason to raise the glasses and toast a sumptuous spread.

A fine dining experience awaits those who wish to spend February 14th in Misto. Indulge in an elegant wine pairing dinner with a mini buffet featuring the hotel’s signature dish - the slow-cooked Angus Roast Beef and a spring-themed salad and dessert spread, matched with romantic harmonies of love.

Seda Abreeza’s Sous Chef Giovanna “Bang” Flores and her team made sure that the occasion will be something to remember from the diners’ first bite to their last. The menu starts with Pear, Arugula, Lollo Rosa, Walnut and Blue Cheese Salad and Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Coconut Milk Panna Cotta, with Parmesan Crumbed Salmon and Buttered Purple Corn, Haricot Vert, Carrots for the main course, each paired with wines fit for the course. This is available at P1,980 net per person, with prior reservations required.

Valentine room packages are also offered from February 10 to 15 for P5,300 net, with a Valentine present for those who will book. For February 14, a special room and dinner package is available at P9,000 net – this includes: overnight accommodation in a deluxe room, buffet breakfast for two persons, dinner for two adults, and a present for the guests.

Congratulations Misto and Seda Abreeza!
