VALENTINE'S day which fall every February 14 of the year, it’s the feast day of Saint Valentine and the celebration of love and affection. According to some stories, Saint Valentine, a priest and was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry under the Roman Empire in order to grow their army.
February is guaranteed the month of “LOVE”. Well it’s the time for those who are already taken to show their firing love this February 14. Some of our blessed couples are now thinking for the very best ideas where to spend the special day. I asked some of my friends and parents of my friends how they spend Valentine ’s Day.
One of my close friends told me that they always spend February 14 with her husband for 5 years at their home, preparing their favourite dishes. They ask their parents to take care of their children for the meantime that they will be of their sight. They want to feel at least one day they have no responsibility and only the two of them.
This couple every Valentine’s day, their main goal is to fire up again their love with each other, they take a vacation leave from their work. The whole day they will stay in one of the most expensive hotels in our city. Just date, relax, eat and enjoy their day and night.
Love day is also for the singles, as it shows that you also need to love yourself first before you can show the unconditional love to others. Self-importance is one ingredient to have self-confidence and showing to everyone that you have value and deserve the proper respect. Singles should be proud as they are the person who has lots of money, freedom and less worry that most of the couple are longing. Don’t get me wrong but they are also the person to turn to when our married friends have problems.
All the singles there, you don’t need to be sad and alone in your home this Valentine’s day. You can go for an adventure with the rest of your single friends. You can go for a group movie night out, out of town adventure or food trip camping at the beach. It’s your choice to be happy and enjoy this heart day, as long as we treat people nice, they will treat us also with value and love.
