60 kids join Innodata football clinic

INNODATA Football Club successfully held its annual free football clinic last Saturday at the San Roque Football Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

More than 60 kids were able to train with Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraw’s Dominique Canonigo. Some children from Liloan attended as well.

The free football clinic was organized to give those kids who cannot afford to join sports clinics a chance to be introduced to the sport. “As a football fanatic, who also graduated because of a footbal scholarship, I want to share my knowledge to the kids,” said Darwin Bordalba, head coach of Innodata FC.

“When time comes, these kids will be in a university varsity, which will help them in their tuition fees,” Bordalba said. “It’s time to give back to the community because I know what it can help for students,” he added. (Ray Charlie Diaz & Julius Ivan Carpio, CNU Communication Interns)
