In an interview, Apo ni Lola operations manager Imee Añabesa shared that they really have one staff whose focus is just the administration of the website and the facilitation of online orders.
Although, online sales only account for five percent of the company’s total sales figures, she pointed out that they take pride of the fact that their products have slowly become a staple not just in Davao, but in other areas as well.
Añabesa added that some of these online buyers are even on their way abroad and would bring their products as “pasalubong” (souvenir) for relatives and friends in their areas of destination.
“We are really working hard to continuously improve our products, especially that we are not only bringing the name Apo ni Lola, but the name of Davao City, too,” she said.
