THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 has in custody a suspected drug pusher.

Rex Andrino Sebumit was the subject of an entrapment in Villagonzalo 2, Barangay Tejero, Cebu City last Sunday afternoon, but he evaded arrest.

He later showed up at the PDEA 7 office where he surrendered.

In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Isidro Lapeña, the 37-years-old suspect could allegedly dispose of 50 grams of shabu per day. He also reportedly had clients in Barangay Tejero and Mandaue City.

Sebumit is a high-value target.

Seized from the suspect were 15 packs of shabu with an estimated street value of P177,000.

Complaints for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the suspect.

PDEA has take over the government’s anti-drug operations so police can concentrate on cleansing their ranks and on the war against illegal gambling.
