Hummer driver who killed motorcycle riders surrenders

THE driver of the luxury sports utility vehicle who rammed and killed two motorcycle riders surrendered Tuesday to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).

QCPD director Guillermo Eleazar identified the suspect as Alvin San Pablo, the driver of the black Hummer who drove away after colliding with a motorcycle while counterflowing along V. Luna Avenue in Quezon City on Sunday.

The incident left the motorcycle riders Felix Marvin Bose and Lowell Gonzalgo dead.

San Pablo said he felt sleepy while driving that he was not able to notice the motorcycle.

After the video of the incident went viral, the owner of the SUV appeared and claimed that he lent his vehicle to a business partner when the incident happened.

San Pablo will be facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting to multiple homicide, said Eleazar. (SunStar Philippines)
