Avelino, Salvador star in romantic flick

HERE is another perfect film to catch for the month of love.

From the producers of the critically acclaimed epic Heneral Luna and Metro Manila Film Festival 2016 Best Picture Sunday Beauty Queen, is a film that tells the story of the heart-wrenching reality about one-sided love.

Whether one is single or not, I’m Drunk, I Love You is the perfect Valentine’s movie. It is a movie full of witty and romantic lines and quotes about love that everyone can surely relate to. With the movie’s nostalgic setting, it will definitely give one a lesson or two about the importance of loving oneself this Valentine’s Day.

I’m Drunk, I Love You by JP Habac follows two best friends, Dio—played by Paulo Avelino and Carson—played by Maja Salvador, as they both go on a road trip days before graduation to resolve their feelings for each other.

JP, the director, was quick to stress that the film is not the whimsical romance usually played out on the big screen. Instead, it reflects the experiences of real people.

“I’m Drunk, I Love You is a synthesis from people within my social circles who have had the unfortunate chance of being a victim of a one-sided love,” the director said.

The trailer was released Jan. 11, which featured more scenes from the movie than the teaser showed in theaters during the Metro Manila Film Festival 2016. This is also TBA’s (Tuko Film Productions) first film offering of the year and it features OPM (Original Pinoy Music) from artists like Juan Miguel Severo, Kai Honasan, Ebe Dancel, Johnoy Danao, Bullet Dumas, Shirebound and Busking, The Out of Body Special, Ang Bandang Shirley, Parokya ni Edgar, and many more.

The film also stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Irma Adlawan and Jim Paredes.
