THE newest male group in the Philippines revealed their financial and future plans after winning the talent reality competition Pinoy Boyband Superstar shown in ABS-CBN last year.
All five winners, Niel Murillo, Russel Reyes, Tristan Ramirez, Ford Valencia, and Joao Constancia, received P1 million each and a contract with Star Magic.
In a press conference on Friday, February 10, at the Summit Circle Cebu, group members said they plan to use their millions to support their family.
"Balak ko pong bumili ng bahay para sa family ko (I plan to buy a house for my family)," Ford said.
"Ako ngayon parang nagplano na kami nila mama na bumili ng lupa tapos papatayuan siguro namin ng bahay na paunti-unti (My mom and I are planning to buy a lot and maybe build on it a house)," Tristan quipped.
Niel, who hails from Cebu, said he will use his money to help his blind brother undergo a medical checkup.
"Papa-check up ko yung kuya ko at tutulungan ko yung family ko financially," he said.
"I've been buying my siblings gifts and stuff and been trying to help my family financially to paying my own condominium now in Makati. So, hopefully I can have a place for myself in the future," Joao said.
Pursuing acting career
The male group said they also hope to earn a spot in the acting industry and even revealed who are the leading ladies they want to be paired with.
"Loisa Andalio. Simple lang din po siya," Ford said.
"Si Pia Wurtzbach. Dream lang naman eh," Tristan said.
"Elisse Joson. She has really nice eyes. She just seems not too complicated."
"Kisses (Delavin of Pinoy Big Brother reality show) una mabait sya, parang kumportable ako sa kanya. Nagmeet nami sa Araneta. Buotan kaayo siya ba, (Kisses. Firstly, she's kind and I think I'm comfortable with her. We already met in Araneta. She's really kind)," Niel said.
"Yassi Pressman (of ABS-CBN's Ang Probinsyano primetime series). She gets my attention a lot. She is beautiful and she's talented," Joao said.
Secrets
When asked to reveal the things that their fans don't know about them, Joao said Ford snores a lot while Tristan takes a lot of time taking a bath.
Joao added that Russell sleeps a lot while Neil is a gamer.
Tristan, on the other hand, said Joao is a crybaby and is afraid of horror movies.
