A MAGNITUDE 4.1 earthquake struck Digos City, Davao del Sur, around 2:27 p.m., Thursday, February 16.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded the epicenter of the earthquake 14 kilometers northeast of Digos City, at a depth of 17 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt at Intensity IV in Digos City, Davao del Sur and Davao City, Intensity III in Malita, Davao Occidental and Intensity I in Kidapawan City.
Phivolcs said aftershocks are unlikely to happen and no damages are expected. (Jo Ann Sablad/SunStar Philippnes)
