THE City Government of Davao assured immediate response to calamities that the city might encounter especially during the rainy season.
Davao City Information Officer Jefry Tupas Thursday, February 16, said the City Disaster and Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) and the Central 911 are in full alert.
“The CDRRMO and the Central 911 conduct continuous weather monitoring,” Tupas said.
He also said teams are also monitoring the rivers and will issue warnings to residents who are vulnerable to flood.
He added the City Information Office helps disseminate information sourced from the Office of the President to suspend classes of primary and secondary schools. (KVC)
