I find that the father-and-son rift of Diego Loyzaga and Cesar Montano hits close to home.

Cesar, just like any other dad, should be concerned over Diego. The young star must be currently undergoing a difficult phase in life. He should exert effort to patch things up himself before it will be too late (God forbid).

My Ex & Whys has reportedly amassed P31.5M in the box-office on the first day of showing. I saw the huge crowds at SM City Cebu and SM Seaside City Cebu last Tuesday when Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil did their Cebu mall tour.

Right then and there, I imagined Star Cinema’s cash register endlessly ringing as each movie fan jostled his or her way to the moviehouse. Congratulations!

As to the real status of the stars? Liza describes it as M.U. for mutual understanding while Enrique translates it to Cebuano as “morag uyab.” Weeey!

A Japanese sit-down comedy is coming our way at the Ayala Center Cebu Cinema 1 on Feb. 22. The play, Rakugo (in English), will start 7 p.m. What’s more exciting is that it’s for free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
