Sultan Kudarat receives P13.27-M infra project

THE Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm) on Friday, February 17, turned over a P13.27-million infrastructure project providing better access road to two villages in the municipality of Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.

Armm Governor Mujiv Hataman led the turnover of the 1.3-kilometer access road linking the villages of Mulaug and Banubo in Sultan Kudarat.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Armm Secretary Engineer Mustapha Loong said the construction of the road started in 2016 through a Memorandum of Agreement between the DPWH-Armm and the Municipal Government of Sultan Kudarat.

Hataman said the construction of another two-kilometer road will be implemented this year in Sultan Kudarat town connecting the village of Mulaog to Sinditan.

Hataman assured the regional government would fast track all the infrastructure projects in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.

DPWH-Armm data showed the agency has implemented 22.39 kilometers of road projects from 2012 to 2016 in the town of Sultan Kudarat alone with an allocation of P304.52 million.
