DEFENDING champion Leylam FC and runner-up Erco Bro FC gun for the top spot of their groups in the Men’s Open 18th Aboitiz Football Cup today at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC). Leylam FC will face against University of San Carlos (USC) for the lead in Group A, while Erco BRO will face top ranked Rising Sun for the top spot in Group B. Leylam FC is at second place and will pass current leader Samba FC with a win, while USC will be eliminated with a loss. In Group B, Rising Sun is three points ahead of Erco Bro FC. In the Boys Under-18 division, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) takes on Don Bosco Erco, while Paref-Springdale faces Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) at the Magone pitch of DBTC.
