THE budget for this year's 80th Araw ng Dabaw is set to be finalized Monday, February 20.
Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) head, Generose Tescson said the executive committee for the Araw will have a meeting to discuss the topic.
"We are still working on last year's budget of 10.4 million, hopefully we can make it lower," she added.
Tecson, two weeks ago revealed that the budget will be divided between the city and the private sector.
This budget will be used to fund 23 official activities of the Araw.
Among the highlights of the Araw will be the Civic parade and Mutya ng Dabaw.
The city government already started the screening for the Mutya ng Dabaw last week. (KVC)
