#SHORTS: Ex-cop says Duterte paid him, others to kill crime suspects; MILF 'frees' 50 child soldiers; Talisay to buy P4-M ‘flooding’ warning device

PAID KILLERS. A retired police officer said President Rodrigo Duterte, when he was mayor of Davao City, ordered and paid him and other members of a so-called liquidation squad to kill criminals and opponents, including a kidnapping suspect and his entire family and a critical radio commentator.

FREED. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) released Sunday about 50 children who acted as couriers and support staff to their fathers and relatives who are members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF).

PURCHASE. To prevent loss of lives during flashfloods, the Talisay City Government will purchase an early warning system (EWS) device for eight barangays situated near the Mananga River.
