NEW laboratory equipment that the Cebu Provincial Government ordered have been delivered to provincial hospitals in the cities of Bogo, Carcar and Danao and Balamban town.
Dr. Rene Catan, head of the Provincial Health Office, said the equipment can conduct sophisticated testing.
Catan added that patients won’t have to pay if they want tests done using the new equipment.
“Patients don’t have to go to the big laboratories to get their tests done because our hospitals are now capable of doing these. Also, the services are free,” he said in Cebuano. Jona Godinez, USJ-R Intern
