Motoomull: Please get up after getting down

GRADUATION time is fast approaching. I, for one, am affected with its commotion although I’m through with that myself, my daughter and sons already years ago. I presume some of you, too.

My title of my write-up is a reminder for all of us in overcoming failure, but specifically for newly graduates this March, who will be looking for jobs. As a starter, they will be sending a lot of resumes, all resumes look the same so remember to stand out.

I read in our local newspaper that a well-known company in Cebu City has scheduled last week-ends their hiring session in a luxury hotel in Cagayan de Oro with special benefits: free ticket to Cebu and free housing for one month. I’m sure there are more job opportunities coming.

Luckily, my daughter got her job with this procedure quite some time now.

In our endeavors, there are disappointment, criticism, humiliation and heartbreak which will make our spirits stronger, but with a positive attitude, of course. We have to be tirelessly reminded “Please get up after getting down.”

Have you forgotten? Like praying, either we kneel down or bow down but after getting down, we always get up and get back to our daily routine.

Success consists of going from failure to failure before becoming a winner without loss of a strong feeling of excitement and interest in something, and a desire to become involved in it. The key to success is analysis, solution, process, objective, teamwork, vision, sales which are self-explanatory, in any order as the need arises. Losing is a part of taking an opportunity to grow genuinely while experience is always the best teacher and failure, if handled correctly, makes a person strong-willed in life.
