Rosevale off to Cebu for Thirsty Football Cup

CAGAYAN de Oro’s football powerhouse, Rosevale School is hopeful to perform better in the Thirsty Football Cup which will kick off at the Cebu City Sports Center in Cebu City on February 20 to 22.

Rosevale School sports coordinator Dennis Bongocan said the school will be competing in the Boys U11 (Born 2006), and Boys U13 (Born 2004).

The school will also field teams in the Boys U15 (Born 2002) and Boys U 19 (Born 1998) representing the Cagayan de Oro Football Club.

Competition in the Boys U11 and Boys U13 will be on Saturday, February 21, with the Boys U15 and Boys U19 matches on Sunday, February 22. The Men’s and Ladies Open will be on February 20.

Aside from Bongocan, the Rosevale players will be accompanied by coaches Mario Sumampong and Aliver Aguaviva.

Rosevale has reaped several titles in the local tournaments but has never won a title yet in the Thirsty Cup since they have joined the tournament three years ago.
