Cabahug shows skill to top 3rd leg

KEKEN Cabahug showed speed and handle as he ruled the third leg of the Honda Motorworld’s Cebu Dream Cup Season 1 at the Kartzone Racetrack in Panagdait, Cebu City last Sunday.

Cabahug both topped the first and final heats to accumulate a total of 50 points en route to winning the Elite 130 Underbone category. Cabahug of Team Cyrus also won the second leg last month, and now leads the race for the coveted overall title.

Lyndon Requilme, also from Team Cyrus, nabbed second place with 46 points, while Simon Solon of FDR Gudmoto settled third with 39.

Solon bounced back in the other category as he topped the Elite 130 Scooter, beating Zac Lyndon Caneda and Mark Capoy of HMWI/Caludette.

Sylvester Ramirez reigned in the Beginner 130 Underbone category as he outsmarted Suliman Orlanes of SC Racing and Saiyad Sahil.

Ramirez of FDR GudMoto walked away with two titles with another win in the Honda Beat Beginner, outlasting Luis Kyle Quindao and Jaycob Cabahug.

Ricky June Banzon dominated the Honda Club Race. Rommel Paz placed second and Keen Inso Maratas was third.

Grezyl Ceniza of SC Racing topped the Honda Beat Ladies and foiled the back-to-back hopes of Chloe Mallari of GudMoto. Janesse Lucero came second, while second leg winner Mallari settled third.
