TRUE to its name, the home development mutual fund popularly known as Pagibig Fund, sponsored a civil mass for its members last February 14 at the SMX Convention Center.
Dubbed as “I Do, I Do, Araw ng Pagibig,” the 183 couple participants were beaming with pride as they were solemnized by Honorable Judge Roland Tolentino. It was the 6th year that the event was staged.
It aimed to help couples, especially those who were living in for years, to finally legalize their union through civil marriage rites and at the same time, promote financial literacy and appreciation of the concept of savings among newlyweds. The only pre-requisite to be able to join the Kasalang Bayan was to register as member of the Pagibig Fund.
The mass wedding did not end after the exchanged of I Do’s. It paved the way for newlyweds to start a financially solid future through Pagibig Fund membership.
Pagibig Fund Davao, represented by Visayas-Mindanao Group Vice-President for Home Lending Operations Fermin Sta Teresa Jr. and Southern Mindanao Area Head Elizabeth Tinagan, stood as witness. To add to the festive atmosphere, exciting raffle prizes including sofa beds, washing machine and Flat TV were given away to lucky newlyweds.
Stunning Events and Weddings is the first ever local coordinator hired by the Pagibig Fund. They facilitated the entire decorations and coordination led by Christopher Pontinez Ledesma and Ritchie Uy Delos Santos.
Delos Santos had great vision for amazing details of beautiful backdrop of fresh flowers, glowing lights, and stunning decorations, radiating chic elegance and extravagant flare which were so perfectly captured by Gabby Yap Photography.
