THE Seagull Football Club (FC) clinched two titles as the Blue Cup Football Festival 2017 ended at the Tionko field over the weekend.

Seagull FC topped the men's open division by nipping Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU), 4-3, in the championship match. Aguilas Dabaw FC was third.

The Seagull FC also emerged champion in the women's open division over AdDU and Aguilas Dabaw that finished second and third, respectively.

AdDU captured the girls under-13 crown having edged Khanj FC, 3-2, via penalty shootout.

AdDU assistant coach Reynalyn Ranada Ravanes said their team and Khanj FC were tied at 1-all at the end of regulation to force a shootout.

AdDU, coached by Analou Ingles, was bannered by Glenne dela Torre, Jasmine Agustin, Juliana del Mundo, Samantha Salise, Lacy Uy, Akia Cayabyab, Princess Juan and Isabella Taojo.

Maco grabbed the third place.

In other divisions, Mintal Interage FC ruled the boys U17 over next two placers Davao del Sur FC and Higala FC of Cagayan de Oro City, Blak Knights FC governed boys U15 over Philippine College of Technology (PCT) and Crocs FC, Crocs FC bested Southshield FC and Rovers FC for the mixed U11 title, PCT annexed the girls U17 crown over San Isidro team of Davao Oriental and Mati City, Southshield prevails over Hyenas FC and Addu in mixed U9, RMC won the mixed U7 title at the expense of Hyenas FC-DPLC and Southshield, and Davraa Team lorded over Addu and Aguilas Dabaw for the boys U13.
