AUTHORITIES arrested a trader and a seaman in a drug buy-bust operation in Agdao District, Davao City, Friday morning.
The suspects were identified as Jeffrey Dancel Sison, 45, married, a business, and a resident of Saphire St., Sison Subdivision, Buhangin; and Obet Morata Malonzo, 30, seaman, and a resident of Laverna Hills Subdivision, Buhangin.
They were arrested around 1:40 a.m. at the Dacudao Avenue in Barangay Paciano, Agdao District, after receiving the marked money from a police officer who posed as buyer.
Seized from the suspects were sachets of suspected shabu and marijuana, Sandugo brand sling bag, and P1,000 marked money.
Police Superintendent Royina M. Garma, station commander of Sta. Ana Police, said Friday that the drugs seized from the suspects are worth P250,000.
The suspects are detained at the Sta. Ana Police Station.
