Class ‘85 still on top of Unity Cup bowfest

CLASS ‘85 still controls the 2017 NOHS @ 115 - NOHSAAI Unity Cup Bowling Fellowship bracketing identification after the third night at Negros Super Lanes over the weekend.

Class ‘85 kept the number one spot despite recording a low output team triple of 1,397 pinfalls (pfs) on a three-game series of 440-473-484.

Moving from eighth to the second spot is Class ‘66 with a highest team triple aggregate score of 1,577 pfs on a three-game score of 482-552-543.

Running third, Class ‘90 struggled on the lanes with 1,393 followed by Class ‘97 with 1,423 and Class ‘82 with 1,441.

The 27 alumni teams will play five sets to identify its bracket divisions then another five schedules to determine the highest scoring teams.

Top five squads in each bracket will advance in the stepladder Final round. Teams that did not qualify must play in the consolation game.

This duckpin bowling event is hosted by the officers of Class ‘92 headed by Hubert Gamboa with Rizal Labordo as tournament director.

Games are played every Saturdays at 5:15 p.m. (HGD)
