THE Kilusang Pagbabago Movement and the Hugpong Federal will organize a freedom rally on February 25, at the Rizal Park, Davao City from 3 p.m. until midnight.
Hugpong Federal Movement Secretary General Boy Dela Cruz said in an interview with SunStar Davao on Wednesday that volunteer teams in Davao Region and other regions of Mindanao will attend.
Dela Cruz said other groups from Manila and other areas within the Philippines are also planning to stage a similar event.
"There will be speakers who will explain why people should join the Duterte administration," he said.
Based on the event advisory, attendees of the rally are encouraged to wear red or blue.
Anybody can also perform during the rally.
Rocky Balili, regional convenor of the Kilusang Pagbabago, said that the performances will depend on those who will volunteer.
He also said that local artists may possibly perform.
He added that the event stemmed from a request of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte movement and was mobilized by the Kilusang Pagbabago and the Hugpong Federal.
