EXCHANGE PROGRAM. The Philippines will be sending over 500 college students annually to Israel in order to learn from Tel Aviv's expertise and advanced technologies in agriculture, the Department of Finance (DOF) said Wednesday.

PLAYING WITH GRENADE. A student died while three of his classmates were injured after playing with a grenade that exploded in a village in Zamboanga del Sur on Wednesday, February 22.

EARTHQUAKE. A magnitude 4.6 earthquake rocked Davao City on Thursday morning, February 23, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
