GIPAHIGAYON ang Happy Walk sa pagsaulog sa National Down Syndrome Month sa SM City Cebu Activity Center niadtong Dominggo sa alas 10:00 sa buntag.
Ang Happy Walk usa ka kalihokan sa National Down Syndrome Association sa ilang pagsaulog matag tuig sa tibuok nasod sa buwan sa Pebrero sa Down Syndrome awareness.
Usa kini ka adbokasiya nga maghatag sa katawhan og kaamguhan sa mga bata nga adunay Down Syndrome.
Matod sa presidente sa Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Cebu Chapter, Ma. Cecilia T. Urbina, boluntaryo ang pagpamiyembro sa maong organisasyon.
Sa kasamtangan, adunay 300 ka rehistradong miyembro sa Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Cebu Chapter.
Ang mga miyembro sa asosasyon nga adunay Down Syndrome makabenepisyo sa pag-apil sa nagkalainlaing aktibidadis, makadawat og freebies, mga seminar discount, ug uban pa.
Gisugdan ang maong adbokasiya sa Happy Walk ni Ginang King, tag-iya sa King's Quality Foods, Inc. lakip ang ubang mga ginikanan sukad niadtong 1999 ug hangtod karon nagpadayon ang ilang kalihokan.
Matod ni Urbina, "The concern for me, as a new parent, who I reach out, who do I talk to, because actually Mr. King who reach out to me and told me about but I know they are not active, but as I select as the president, I make sure the awareness campaign will be more focus and then we reach out to more parent. Its voluntarily we don't force but it is though this activity, the people will get to know that there are the organization, the kids can really grow up normally." Mhike Dominique C.
