Ateneo Davao summer sports camp, April 17 to 18

THE Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) will hold its Summer Sports Camp on April 17 to 28 and on May 1 to 12 at the university's sports complex in Matina, Davao City.

Camp director Mark Samante, who guested in Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum held at The Annex of SM City Davao Thursday, February 23, said the camp will feature basketball, volleyball, football, chess, table tennis, taekwondo, swimming, and track and field which will be spearheaded by seasoned ADDU coaches.

The annual summer sports program aims to develop the athletes' initial love for sports and see sports as vehicle for learning values that is applicable in life.

Samante said the camp is open to all athletes ages six years old and above, adding that seniors and children-at-heart are still welcome to join.

"We are prepared to cater all regitrants. Kung sino yung gustong matuto pwedeng sumali at walang limit yung slots namin (Those who want to learn are free to join, our slots has no limit)," Samante said.

Registration fees are pegged at P3,000 for Addu students while P3,500 for non-Addu students inclusive of two camp shirts, bag and a journal which will be used by the participants in the two-week skills development camp.
