THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is set to launch on Wednesday, March 1, the 2017 tax campaign for the region in Zambaoanga City with the theme: “BIR tunay na pagbabago para sa bayan.”
BIR Assistant Revenue District Officer Fabian Francisco said the campaign aims to encourage the taxpayers to pay the right amount of taxes and on schedule.
Francisco said there will be also tax information drive to include updates on the policies of the agency.
BIR Deputy Commissioner for Resource Management Group Celia King will be the guest speaker during the launching of the tax campaign in the city, Francisco added.
Also to attend the event are the Revenue District Officers from Dipolog City, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Sibugay, Basilan, Tawi Tawi, and, Sulu. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
