Daniel Padilla attributes success to best people in showbiz

ASIDE from his legion of supporters, Daniel Padilla attributes his showbiz success to colleagues who work with him behind the camera.

In an interview on Saturday at the press conference of his "Most Wanted" concert held at Dong Juan in Quezon City, Padilla said he is blessed to be surrounded by the best people in the industry.

The 20-year-old said they push him to do better.

Thankful lang talaga ako," he said.

He said he knows that fame will come and go, but said the most important thing to an artist is to reinvent oneself.

The Teen King also shrugs off the rivalry between his and Kathryn Bernardo's love team and that of the love team of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, saying Soberano and Gil are his friends.

Meanwhile, Padilla is thankful for the successful first week of the remake of 2010 hit teleserye, "Pangako Sa 'Yo".

The episode last Friday became a trending topic on social media after the characters of Padilla and Bernardo finally appeared in the series.

Nakakatuwa," he said.

Asked if their aim is to come up with something better than the Jericho Rosales-Kristine Hermosa version, Padilla said nothing could replace the original.

"Hindi mo kailangan pantayan or kalabanin.

"Pangako Sa 'Yo" is one of the successful original series produced by ABS-CBN. The soap had been syndicated in over 20 countries, including the United States, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, China, and Cambodia. (Sunnex)
