SAF policeman faces murder raps

THE Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) filed on Friday a case of frustrated murder against a Special Action Force (SAF) policeman implicated in a shooting incident in the city.

ZCPO director Angelito Casimiro identified the policeman as Police Officer 1 Eduardo Amuddin of the SAF 51st command based in Tawi-Tawi.

Casimiro said the case against Amuddin before the City Prosecutor’s Office stemmed after he allegedly shot and wounded a Alfred Villoria, 22, on Thursday morning in the village of Tumaga.

Investigation showed that Amuddin allegedly shot Villoria after the former caught the latter with his wife in their residence, Casimiro said.

Amuddin, assisted by his legal counsel, has requested for a preliminary investigation, he added.
