Misamis Oriental turns over P3.3-M infra projects to 3 towns

THE Misamis Oriental Provincial Government distributed about P3.3 million worth of infrastructure projects to three towns in the province.

The Manticao’s three villages, barangays Camungan, Paniayan and Pagawan, received a total of P2.1 million worth of projects for the rehabilitation of their barangay hall and construction of covered courts.

Barangay Tabok of Lagonglong town received P600, 000 for road graveling while Barangay Kibanhan of Balingasag received P300, 000 for the rehabilitation of its evacuation center.

Also, sports equipment for basketball and volleyball games were distributed to different barangays of the province.

In February, the province has also turned over P1.05 million worth of infrastructure projects to Barangay 3 in Gingoog City, which received a P300,000 check to complete the construction of the Phase 3 of its village hall, a project initiated by the province in 2014 while Bauk-Bauk village in Balingoan town received a total of P600,000 for the road concreting.

Also, Mabini village in Binuangan received P150,000 to purchase a lot intended for its daycare center and multi-purpose hall.

The village beneficiaries also accepted sports equipment, medical apparatus, medicines, hygiene kits, vegetable seeds, sacks of corn seeds, and gallons of paints from the province.
