A MAN died on his 53rd birthday after a snake bit his hands in the mountain village of Guadalupe, Bogo City, northern Cebu, Sunday evening, March 5.
The police said the victim, identified as Virgilio Ypil, was drunk when he was playing with the snake given by his neighbor, radio dyLA reported.
After the snake bit Ypil, his neighbors and relatives rushed the victim to the public hospital in Bogo.
Ypil died in the hospital past 7 p.m.
Investigators failed to determine what specie the snake was. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
