Simply Shoes opens 1st Mindanao branch

SIMPLY Shoes, a one-stop shop for trendy yet affordable shoes, has finally opened its first branch in Mindanao last February 28.

As Tagum City celebrated its Musikahan Festival, the shoe store, which is part of Henry Sy-owned mall chain SM, opened its doors to Tagumeños. This coincided with the opening of City Mall in the region’s City of Palms.

With 5,000 pairs of footwear for ladies, men, and children, everyone who visits the store will surely get the right pair, ranging from the fashionable ones to more functional pairs. Among the brands it carries are SM’s iconic Parisian and Solemate for the ladies, Milanos for men, and Sugar Kids, Tough Kids, Sofia the First, Avengers, Planet and Spiderman for children.

For the more active individuals, Simply Shoes also offers brands like Easy Soft, Duralite, Islander, Toeberries, Beachwalk, Sprint, and Kicks. In total, the store boasts of more than 20 brands.

Simply Shoes Assistant Vice President Elizabeth Nathalia Tinio pointed out during an interview it has always been their objective to continuously provide footwear that is not only pocket-friendly but trendy as well, whether it is a casual or formal gathering.

“We replenish stocks monthly in all categories, in all genders,” Tinio said when asked how they maintain the freshness of their products, especially when it comes to designs.

With supplies coming from China and Marikina, Simply Shoes ensures what they have in each branch are the same as what can be found in their Manila stores.

“We offer trendy fashion to the community,” she said, adding that they maintain same prices in all stores.

“For all your shoe needs, we have at Simply Shoes,” she continued.

Aside from thousands of footwear, Simply Shoes likewise sell bags with brands like Grab Bags, Summit backpack, and Salvatore Mann Bags.

Simply Shoes in Tagum City is already the 24th branch in the country since it started in 2014. Tinio assured the legacy does not stop there as they are keen on opening more branches. By the third quarter of this year, they are set to open their Bulua, Cagayan de Oro branch, and by last quarter, the stores in Dipolog, Lam-an, Zamboanga and Surigao will be established already.

At the end of 2017, Simply Shoes’ goal is to be able to open a total of 50 branches nationwide, and 100 by end of 2018.
