American fugitive arrested in Mandaue City

A 47-YEAR-OLD American national was taken into custody by the Bureau of Immigration (BI)-Central Visayas after authorities found out that he has a pending summary deportation order.

Brian Keith Ziemba was apprehended when he went to the BI office at JCentre Mall in Mandaue City to secure an exit clearance certificate on Tuesday, March 7.

Lawyer Ronaldo Deray, BI-Central Visayas special prosecutor, said Zeimba will be sent to Manila for the issuance of a warrant of deportation by the BI commissioner.

Ziemba was considered a fugitive, as a warrant of arrest was issued against him by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for a few counts of sexual assault, lewdness with a minor, and open and gross lewdness. (FMG/SunStar Cebu)
