Air Supply sings for Cebuanos again

AFTER three months of waiting, Pinoy fans finally witnessed the performance of the renowned Air Supply in Cebu City and Manila. The duo’s concert was supposed to happen last Dec. 6 and 8, but the producers had to cancel due to Russell Hitchcock’s health condition.

With Hitchcock now in tip-top shape, the Australian duo serenaded Pinoy fans at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino yesterday. Cebuana talent Jolianne Salvado, who made a name for herself in The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2, was the soft rockers’ front act.

Beth David, the event organizer for the concert, said that after the Cebu concert, Graham Russell and Hitchcock flew to Manila for their concert tonight at the Resorts World Manila.

The duo had a meet-and-greet event last Monday at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino where fans from all ages came to meet the Australian soft-rock duo behind the hits Two Less Lonely People, Even the Nights Are Better, Making Love Out of Nothing at All, and many more.

It was Air Supply’s third concert in Cebu City and will surely not be its last because of their love for the Cebuano lechon. Russell and Hitchcock said lechon is one of the things that keep them coming back to the Philippines. Pepo Daradal, USJ-R Masscom Intern
