FORMER Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach reacted to speculations that her boyfriend, professional race car driver Marlon Stockinger has kids.
At a recent press conference, the 27-year-old said she hasn't really heard of this news.
"I have actually never… Are you sure it's the same Marlon?" Wurtzbach said. "There's a lot of Marlon… I don't know anything about that."
She added that people, especially those from the media, should be careful with what they say and requested everyone to first double check facts.
"People have to be careful with what they say also because if it does turn out not to be true, then the credibility of the media would be…"
"I guess we just have to check the facts first, but I really don’t know."
Wurtzbach was also asked if they already discussed about settling down in the future.
The former beauty queen said she has a lot on her plate at the moment and prefers to focus on her career.
"We haven't talked about that. My focus right now is my work. Marami pa akong gustong ma-achieve sa trabaho," she said.
Wurtzbach and Stockinger started seeing each other September of last year. It was only in January when the two confirmed the romance.
Meanwhile, she is not closing her doors to rejoining show business.
She said there are offers for her to return and if she decides to, she'd like to try her hands again in acting and pursue hosting.
"I think I can do both. I would love to explore my acting skills again because it's been awhile. since I've been doing acting."
"But for now, we are still planning things and we'll see where it goes. So far, everything is looking very promising."
Before she handed her crown to 2016 Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere, Wurtzbach signed a three-year contract with talent management group IMG.
She will also be seen as guest judge in cycle five of Asia's Next Top Model, which will start airing on April 5. (SunStar Philippines)
